Taking the first step into the box. Once you’re there, the rest is cake. I mean the workouts are brutal, but once you’re there you have your coaches and teammates to push you thru :)

Your blog is on point. I'm debating in doing CrossFit or possibly boxing training. Which one would you recommend? And if you suggest CrossFit how do I select and gym? There are so many in Sacramento, not sure where to go

Depends on your fitness goals. Both are great workouts. I would try both and choose whichever you enjoy most and is most convenient for your schedule. For me, crossfit has been the best workout i’ve ever tried. If you go the crossfit route, check out a few boxes closest to you and see which best fits w/ your personality and where you feel most comfortable and supported. Good luck!

Depends on the wod (workout of the day), and also if it’s a push press, strict press or jerk. For the most part I live in the 58# - 75# range for workouts. My max varies depending on the lift. My heaviest would be split jerks
